Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: What does the red X at The Daily Bugle mean?

As the struggle between the IO and the Seven factions continues in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, weird new aspects will be introduced. But a fresh upgrade has resulted in another peculiarity. A mystery red symbol is now roaming around The Daily Bugle identified area, and it may be worth visiting.

The red sign that now floats throughout The Daily Bugle denotes the locations of IO-Seven raid battles. Those fighting alongside the Seven must defeat three waves of IO villains, most of whom can be killed with a few shots. This wave ends with a boss battle against a considerably stronger IO soldier. They only have an Epic Thermal Scoped Rifle, therefore you and the CPU-controlled Seven Outpost soldiers should be able to kill him in a few minutes.

After defeating the foes, players will obtain a couple Legendary Combat SMGs and health supplies, as well as a few hundred XP for fighting the boss. This raid encounter may also be finished each time you enter it, making it a wonderful method to gain top-tier gear early on. It's unclear how this raid battle affects the game's storyline, but the Seven look to be regaining control of the island.
