Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: Where to plant wiretaps to monitor IO communications

Week 5 of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has here, and the Resistance questline now requires players to venture even closer to IO bases in order to place wiretaps in difficult-to-find spots. Of course, this means you'll have to race to find the ideal locations for these devices. Fortunately, there are just three destinations to visit, all of which are relatively close to one another.

These wiretaps should be placed wherever their holograms may be seen, as indicated above. The first will be on the west side of Command Cavern's mountain, adjacent to the cellular tower. The next wiretap can be planted immediately in front of The Fortress's big mobile drill if you travel there from there. The last device must be dumped at an IO outpost on the right side of its garage area on the other side of Loot Lake.

This Resistance task will reward you with an additional 23,000 XP and lead to another Device Uplink objective, as it did in previous weeks. Week 5 has a lot more to offer than just new Resistance tasks. The deadly Ranger Shotgun makes its appearance in the latest update, and gamers can also get The Prowler skin for free.
