Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks: Free 4-star weapon Fading Twilight stats and preview revealed
Fading Twilight, a free four-star weapon in Genshin Impact 2.7. Because of the game's cruel gacha mechanism, people expect a lot from free weaponry. Getting a five-star weapon from the Epitome Invocation banner is a pain. Everything you need to know about the 2.7 beta. It has an Energy Recharge sub-stat and a DMG boosting passive ability.
Genshin Impact 2.7: Sub-stats and passive leak
It has 44 Base ATK and 6.7 percent Energy Recharge at Level 1. Maximum ascension (Lv. 90) gives 565 Base ATK and 30.6 percent Energy Recharge. This weapon's passive ability has three states: Evengleam, Afterglow, and Dawnblaze. These boost DMG dealt by 6%, 10%, and 14%. When an attack hits an opponent, the weapon changes state. This weapon's status changes every 7 seconds. The character using this weapon can still alter states while off-field.
Here's how much DMG buff each state provides at higher refinements:
- Evengleam - 6%, 7.5%, 9%, 10%, 12%
- Afterglow - 10%, 12.5%, 15%, 17.5%, 20%
- Dawnblaze - 14%, 17.5%, 21%, 24.5%, 28%
How viable is Fading Twilight bow in Genshin Impact?
Travelers are apprehensive about the free four-star bow's usefulness. This weapon's strong base ATK and passive ability allow off-field damage dealers to flourish. Yelan's Elemental Burst is an off-field damaging ability that infuses the active character's Normal Attacks with Hydro. With an Elemental Burst of 70 Energy, the Fading Twilight could be useful for the five-star Hydro bow character.
Characters like sub-DPS Ganyu and Kujou Sara can also benefit from Fading Twilight. Sara needs a high base ATK, whereas Ganyu relies on her Elemental Burst for off-field Cryo damage. The ER sub-state may also work well with other support bow users like Gorou and Venti, but it is too early to tell.
