Lost Ark: How to complete The Wounded Pilgrim quest

There are plenty of missions to perform and places to visit in Lost Ark. The game has a lot of substance, especially in the later levels. The quest path that grants players their second Awakening talent is one of the most essential. These abilities offer up a whole new world of destruction, but they can take a long time to obtain due to the numerous separate quests involved. The Wounded Pilgrim is one of such missions, and it can be one of the more difficult ones to finish. Not because of any difficult foes, but because it occasionally fails to guide the player to the next objective. Here's all you need to know if you're having trouble completing this quest.

How to complete The Wounded Pilgrim quest

Accepting this objective is the first step toward completing it. You'll need to speak with Queen Ealyn in Queen's Castle to do so. She'll tell you about an injured pilgrim named Armen who arrived in town. She will then send you to Parna Forest to speak with the goblin elder Balu. Go to Point 1 on the above map if you don't remember where he is.

He will recollect Armen and send you to the Herbalist Kobe, who is located at Point 2 on the accompanying map. Kobe seemed to have forgotten all about Armen, but perhaps bringing them the 100 herbs taken by slimes in the region would revive their memory. Sounds suspicious, but all you have to do now is grind for the herbs by killing the slimes in the area.

It shouldn't take you as much time as it appears. You'll get about five herbs from each slime. Return to Kobe once you've collected the requisite number of herbs. This seemed to have given them the memory boost they required, as Kobe now recalls seeing Armen being attacked by humans. He departs for Point 3 on the map above.

If you chat with Kobe in this region of the map, they will simply say that they believe Armen was stabbed there. They're not far away, as it turns out. You'll locate a small object that you can interact with if you hug the cliff beside Kobe and turn east. When you come across a downed tree, you've gone too far. It won't have a glowing purple emblem like many other quest markers, but you should be able to spot it quite quickly.

That's Armen's necklace, and it's the evidence you'll need to prove he was attacked. Return it to Kobe, where it will be confirmed that it belonged to Armen. They will offer you a letter from Armen and direct you to Twilight Isle in order to assist you in locating his assailants. The quest aims to travel to Twilight Isle will be advanced if you read Armen's letter.

When you arrive on Twilight Isle, look for the person known as Quayside Old Man. They are located at Point 4 on the map above. He won't be particularly helpful, but conversing with him will at least establish that you're in the proper area. Investigating Twilight Isle will be the next mission objective. You must then locate Twilight Chapel in order to discover the assassins who attacked Armen.

To continue with The Wounded Pilgrim past this point, you must first finish the remaining Twilight Isle tasks. Look through your mission log for them. They are as follows:
  • Dawn’s Call
  • Dusk’s Shadows
  • Twilight’s Dance
  • Twilight’s Touch
Return to point 4 on the map once you've completed Twilight's Touch. You'll now locate Tigaro where the old man was, who will tell you what happened to Armen. Tigaro's customer, it turns out, wanted Armen dead. Finding this information will finish The Wounded Pilgrim quest, but it will also start the next phase of the Awakening questline, so don't believe you're finished yet.
