Lost Ark: Update Patch Notes & Weekly Server Maintenance Today

Before servers go down, players will receive the entire maintenance schedule and patch notes for the weekly Lost Ark update. Developers Smilegate has a lot of exciting things planned for the next weeks, including new characters and challenges for the popular free-to-play game. There has even been discussion of Lost Ark being ported to other platforms, however, the team has been clear that no console ports are currently planned. While the Lost Ark server maintenance will not finish with the release of new material, there is still lots to learn about.

WEEKLY UPDATE & MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FOR LOST ARK

After the Steam platform's servers have been taken offline, the Lost Ark upgrade will go live today. Although this is becoming more common, gamers should be aware that Lost Ark server maintenance will begin on Thursday, April 7th at 12 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. UTC / 9 a.m. CET. For UK gamers, this means the Lost Ark servers will go down at 8 a.m. BST for several hours.

According to Smilegate, the downtime will only last four hours, so Lost Ark should be back up by 4 a.m. PT, 12 p.m. BST, and 1 p.m. CET. "All Lost Ark servers and regions will be coming down on April 7th at 12 AM PT / 7 AM UTC / 9 AM CET for our routine weekly maintenance and update," according to a notice from Smilegate. The outage is expected to continue up to 4 hours; we appreciate your patience and will notify you when the systems are up and running again."

And, as previously said, we already know what will be included in this upcoming patch, with the official notes indicating that bug fixes will be the primary focus. The whole list, which includes the following changes, can be found below:
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from loading into Ancient Elveria during Ealyn’s “Time to Heal” rapport quest.
  • Fixed an issue where all Metallurgy and Tailoring books were marked as Tier 3 when exchanging with Winter Illusion vendor Mio.
  • Fixed an issue where unintended characters could be used in chat.
In April 2022, a considerably larger content update will be released, bringing a new playable character to EU and NA Steam servers. Before the end of the month, the New Martial Artist Advanced Class – Glaivier will be available, followed by the Destroyer Advanced Class and Trial Guardian Raids in May.
