MLB The Show 22: What happened to Team Affinity?
In Diamond Dynasty, Team Affinity in the MLB The Show series has always been a terrific method to gain your favorite team's dedicated cosmetics and players. This was possible because of a feature that allowed users to do so through team-based tasks that could be completed at any moment. However, because MLB The Show 22 makes no reference to this illustrious incentives system, it begs the issue of where it has vanished.
Team Affinity has been effectively integrated with highlighted programs for this latest iteration. As a result, supporters will have to level up in programs to earn old Team Affinity products by accumulating XP. As soon as players complete Level 1 of the current Faces of the Franchise Program, they will notice team-centric banners, symbols, and jerseys.
However, because the current program divides team unlockables by division packs, each of which can be obtained at different levels, players will be unable to work directly for specific team things. If you want to get Blue Jay's cosmetics or players, for example, you'll need to hit certain levels that award AL East things, and so on. It's worth noting that the Faces of the Franchise Program is set to end on May 2, and it's unclear whether fans will be able to get their hands on these Team Affinity awards after that date.
