Nintendo Switch Sports: How to Unlock Pro League

Nintendo Switch Sports, the spiritual successor to Wii Sports, was just released. Many new features have been added to this game that has never been seen before in the franchise, such as Badminton and Volleyball. It also brings back several components from prior entries, such as Miis, however, it does so at the expense of some of the more recent features. The "pro" status and ranking system is another returning component that fans may not be aware of. This feature was not available during the Online Play Test, thus anyone who activates it can expect more difficult encounters than before. In Switch Sports, it works a little differently, since players must first unlock Pro League in a sport before they can begin ascending the ranks.

How to Unlock Pro League in Nintendo Switch Sports

Players can gain access to Pro League in one sport by playing it at least 10 times online. The more victories you get in a sport, the sooner Pro League will be available for it. You'll have to do this for each sport separately, so don't anticipate every Pro League to be available at the same time. Furthermore, playing locally will not assist you in obtaining this function. Playing globally as much as possible is your best shot toward unlocking this feature.

Because of internet play, this new feature differs from Wii Sports' initial Pro status. For Nintendo Switch Sports, Pro Leagues provide competitive matching. When you play online, you'll be paired with other players according to to on your skill level. You are not, however, tied into these leagues; while playing globally, you can click User Settings and manually suspend Pro League progress. While progress is paused, you will not gain or lose a rating, and you will be able to unpause at any time. You can use Pro Leagues to set a challenge for yourself, or simply halt their development for some casual online fun!
