No Man’s Sky: How to complete The Compass

The Compass is the first Milestone in No Man's Sky Expedition 6: Blighted's Phase 1 of the game. To finish the game, you must locate your ship, but this is easier said than done. This tutorial will show you how to finish The Compass so you don't have to start over.

Where is your ship?

In No Man's Sky Expedition 6: Blighted, you do not spawn near your spacecraft. Instead, you'll have to travel for a few minutes across the world to get there. Look for the ship icon on your compass or in your immediate surroundings. You may track it by highlighting it as you see it. Following the emblem will lead you to your ship.

Ours was near a base where a few other gamers were playing. Something similar is likely to happen in the early hours or days of an Expedition. However, if you join in the middle, you may find yourself alone when you get to your ship. It's the time to fix it up and get off the planet. Don't forget to use the Expedition menu to collect 10 Ion Batteries, 10 Life Support Gels, and a Banned Movement System Upgrade. Moving forward and completing further Milestones and Phases will require these.
