After finishing Dryxxl's first quest, Spell to Pay, you'll come across the Ancient Powers side quest. After you've completed the task, you can assist Dryxxl in exploring some old ruins near Korvok's Wall's Ribs location. You will take part in a summoning ritual towards the end of the Ancient Powers quest, where you will combat a horde of undead foes in order to obtain a powerful spell.

After you've completed the Ancient Powers quest once, you'll be able to repeat the summoning procedure in Ancient Powers (Part 2). After you finish part two, you'll be able to move on to parts three, four, and five. Though it may appear that each section is identical, each one differs significantly until you reach part four. You'll encounter the Dread Lord miniboss in part four.
