Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: How to complete the Ancient Powers side quest

Dryxxl hasn't given up on you yet. He has a new quest for you, and it will undoubtedly be better than the last. He'd like you to accompany him to some old ruins in order to discover the secrets hidden there. If you can, ignore the eerie voice. Here's how to finish Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' Ancient Powers side quest. You can't start this quest until you've finished Dryxxl's previous one, Spell to Pay. Go to the Ribs part of Kornok's Wall once you've completed that mission. This quest may be picked up just next to the area's fast travel point.

Delving into the past

Meet Dryxxl to the left of the Ribs region after picking up the task. He'll be waiting for you right outside the ruins. Follow Dryxxl to a puzzle involving five totems after a little talk. To disclose a secret region, destroy the wall to the right of the totems. The solution to the riddle will be written on the cave's walls. The totems must be destroyed in a certain order. The correct order can be seen in the image above. If you hit them in the correct order, they will glow green, but if you hit the wrong one, they will reset.

Going off on your own

When you've finished the riddle, you'll discover that you're not alone in these ruins. The Coiled has arrived. As you make your way through the ruins and to the next door that blocks your route, defeat the attackers. Destroy the wall to the door's left. Descend the tunnel and defeat the foes. You're on the lookout for opponents with the name Key Thief. They are in possession of the lock keys. Place both keys in the locks to open the door once you have them. To get to the inner sanctuary, keep going through the ruins and destroying the vines.

Using the portal

Follow Dryxxl as he speaks to the Dread Lord once you've entered the inner sanctum. There will be a portal. Follow Dryxxl to the summoning ritual area after passing through the portal. When you're ready to begin the ritual, talk to Dryxxl. After the ceremony begins, destroy the skeletons that arise. You'll have to give up your life essence once they've all been annihilated. Interact with the totem of the rite. To complete the mission, use the spell formed by your life essence.
