World of Warcraft Dragonflight: How does Dragonriding work
World of Warcraft is getting a new expansion, and it appears like it'll be a good one for those who like to fly. Although a release date for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has yet to be confirmed, fans are already eager to learn more about the game's upcoming new mechanics. Dragon riding is one such addition, which allows players to fly on the back of one of the expansion's Drakes.
Even at this early stage, we have a good understanding of how Dragonriding will function in Dragonflight. Throughout the expansion, players will be able to unlock four different Drakes, one for each Dragon Isles zone. Flight differs from the existing flying mounts in the game in that you'll be able to hop on the back of one of your Drakes and soar to the sky, but the process will first resemble gliding rather than the actual flight.
However, as you continue, you'll be able to enhance your Drakes' powers and teach them new moves, and by the end, they'll be doing loop-de-loops like the best of them. Players' Drakes will also be customizable, giving you a distinct sense of ownership over your draconic companion, according to the developers. So, even if you stumble across other players flapping their own wings while exploring the enormous Dragon Isles, there should be little misunderstanding.
