MotoGP 22: How to change gears

Changing gears, like braking, is an essential aspect of any racing game. This is true in MotoGP 22, where riders will have to adjust speeds on the fly in order to pull off wild spins and avoid colliding with the ground. If you want to race with manual shifting, MotoGP 22 gives you the option to do so. The inputs for changing gears are listed below.

To change gears in MotoGP 22, users must become familiar with the two buttons on the controller that handles moving UP and DOWN. Tap the X (for Xbox), Square (for PlayStation), or Y (for Nintendo Switch) buttons on the controller to move down. To move up, press B (on Xbox), Circle (on PlayStation), or A (on PC) (for Nintendo Switch).

Players will be able to change gears with the controller regardless of whether they are utilizing manual or semi-automatic shifting. Setting it to the manual, on the other hand, means that you will be the only one who can change the gears throughout the race. If it's set to automatic, the CPU will change the gears on its own.
