Overwatch 2: How to play Push game mode
Push is a new game mode in Overwatch 2 that you can play with your buddies. It may feel similar to the Payload one to some, but the enemy team now has an opportunity to transport the core objective around the board. Your goal is to push the opposition team's objective, the Robot, further across to their side before they can push it towards yours. This guide will show you how to play Overwatch 2's Push game mode.
How to play Push in Overwatch 2
The robot will be seated in the middle of the map when the game begins. It will remain neutral for the first few seconds, and you will be able to move it until it activates. Once it does, you'll need more players on it than your opponent in order to start the robot. The robot will advance towards the enemy side while under your team's control, attempting to push the barrier farther into their area.
Each side will be able to reach checkpoints. If you do not reach these checkpoints and your hero dies in the battle, they will be returned back to their original spawn spot while attempting to push the robot. If you reach the checkpoint, though, you will revive in a more convenient location, making it easier to return to the objective. On the Push icon at the top, the dots show these checkpoints.
The Push match will be won by the player who moves the robot closer to the opponent's base. Based on the larger number, which will also be highlighted, you can identify who is winning. Your team's number will be highlighted in blue if you win. The number of the opposing team will be displayed in red if they are in the lead.
If your site was previously in charge of the robot, you may lose, but if you keep control of the robot and push it further than the adversary, you may win. If you are knocked off the robot by the opposing team while they have the greater number, overtime will end and you will lose the game. Push is a five-versus-five-person game in which one tank, two DPS, and two support heroes compete against each other.
