Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow would never get back together
Gwyneth Paltrow, like the rest of us, finds Drew Barrymore immensely relatable. The Drew Barrymore Show posted footage of the talk show presenter debating the possibility of dating an ex on its official Instagram page on April 30. In the tape, Barrymore states, "None of my exes are interested, and there's nothing there." "They're all like dead birds." There's nothing left, nothing to review in any of my previous relationships... It's as though vultures are flying over and saying, 'There's nothing to eat here!' 'Get moving, boys!'
The video's caption poses the straightforward question, "Would you ever get back together with an ex?" Gwyneth Paltrow, the founder of Goop, had only two words for that, as captured in a screenshot by the Comments by Celebs Instagram account: "I'm fine."
While Paltrow is currently married to writer-producer Brad Falchuk, she has a slew of noteworthy ex-lovers who aren't so easy to dismiss. Paltrow was engaged to Brad Pitt in 1996, dated Ben Affleck from 1997 to 2000, and created the term "conscious uncoupling" after she divorced ex-husband Chris Martin in 2014. And she had no intention of getting back together with any of them.
That isn't to say that all love is lost. Paltrow and Martin have remained friends as they co-parent their two children, Apple, 17, and Moses, 16, and Paltrow has even given her blessing to Martin's current girlfriend, Dakota Johnson. Paltrow refers to her ex-husband as her "brother" in June 2021.
