In the Witch Queen Expansion, Bungie has introduced a wide range of new mechanics and content. Destiny 2 has seasonal adjustments, but the Raids are the primary new piece of content that the entire community is looking forward to. The Master hard version of the Vow of the Disciple Raid is fantastic. This guide will show you how to complete the Looping Catalyst Rhulk challenge, which will award you an extra chest.

Raid Challenges

Raid challenges have been around for a long in Destiny 2. Each Raid offers a variety of tasks, and the Looping Catalyst challenge is one of the easier ones. If you complete the task correctly, you will receive two additional chests, which you can stack if you completed the secret red chest earlier in the Raid. This Raid task must be achieved during the fight with Rhulk, the last boss.

The Looping Catalyst Challenge

The looping catalyst refers to a pair of debuffs that Rhulk can apply during the Raid encounter's opening phase. The first phase of the raid is the normal Raid stages for leeching and emitting force.
  • To begin the battle, Player 1 will stand on the central plate and shoot the crystal above Rhulk. This player will get leeching power as a result of this.
  • Players two and three must fire crystals that appear on the left or right side of the temple entrance to obtain leeching force. This will provide both players leeching force while removing it from the first player.
  • Rhulk will teleport to the center, left, or right side of the arena at random and fire an energy beam. Leeching force players must let the beam hit them. Their leeching force debuff will turn into radiating force once the gold beam touches them.
  • At this moment, player one returns to the middle plate and regains leeching power, and the cycle continues three times more.

Having completed the challenge

The only requirement for completing the looping catalyst challenge is that the fireteam never loses the leeching force debuff during the battle. Players four, five, and six must avoid interfering with the leeching and emitting force loops. Other players should move away from Rhulk's beams and avoid them at all costs when he fires them.

Thankfully, this obstacle isn't too far from what you'd find in a usual encounter. This is also a temporary challenge. The challenge is completed once the first phase is completed and Rhulk retreats to his temple for the second phase. Simply finish the final boss fight, and the additional chests and the Looping Catalyst challenge will be unlocked when Rhulk falls.
