Destiny 2: How to get the Guardian Games 2022 armor sets

New cosmetics accompany each new Destiny 2 event, and the Guardian Games 2022 is no exception. Not just in their event lineup, but across Destiny 2, this year's offerings are some of the flashiest and most futuristic sets of armor available. There are two methods to get them, as with all cosmetics in the game: spend real money for instant access or pay several thousand Bright Dust.

Two Ways to buy the Guardian Games 2022 Armor set

You don't have to wait for the individual pieces to appear in the Eververse store with these limited-time cosmetics. A complete set of a single class costs 6,000 Bright Dust or 1,500 Silver. That's $15 in Silver for one class's new look, albeit Silver may only be purchased in $10 increments. If you want all three sets of new apparel, you'll have to spend $50 or more in the Eververse store for other products. 6,000 Bright Dust is a lot of Bright Dust, and acquiring all three sets will cost you 18,000 Bright Dust. 40,000 Dust is available over the course of a Season, barring unending Repeatable Bounty grinding. There is no limit to how many Dust you can earn using these.

It is technically possible to earn the 6,000 you need for a single set of cosmetics, but if you're starting from scratch or have already spent it before the Guardian Games, it will take some time. Eva Levante has reintroduced Weekly Bounties, which award 200 Dust upon completion and may be completed six times every week. You'll earn 3,600 Bright Dust if you complete all of them across all three characters during the event. Completing all three eight-bounty challenges for Strikes, Gambit, and Crucible wins you an additional 3,240 Dust, plus repeatable. Season Pass users get access to 10,000 points for the whole pass, and completing 62 of the 66 Seasonal Challenges might earn you more than 10,000 points.

Completing the entire Season Pass during the Guardian Games will be a genuine chore, but one that will leave you drowning in Medallions and Laurels if you haven't done much of it already. The Challenges are more manageable, albeit some of them require Osiris Trials, Raids, and other timed or team-based activities.
