Scarlet Rot is a new variant of the Dark Souls games' toxic condition effect. This status effect swiftly depletes an enemy's health and has the potential to kill them. The Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman improves your attack power while also increasing the efficiency of your poison and Scarlet Rot abilities. When you inflict the poison or Scarlet Rot status effect on any entity in the vicinity, including yourself, you gain this bonus. This talisman is used in some fantastic builds. In Elden Ring, here's how to get the Kindred of Rot's Exultation.

You must first travel to Altus Plateau in order to receive this talisman. This is the area between Limgrave and Liurnia to the north. The two pieces of the Dectus Medallion can be obtained from Forth Faroth and Fort Haight to get entrance to this location. To get entrance to the Plateau, use the finished medallion at the Grand Lift of Dectus in northern Liurnia. This location can also be reached by passing via the dungeon that connects the Liurnia ravine and the plateau. If you are new to the game or have a low level, this method is not recommended.

Make your way to the western edge of the plateau, where Mt. Gelmir is located. If you came up through the dungeon, you'll already be near this region. Take the path through Mt. Gelmir to Fort Laiedd, which heads north and then east. You'll come upon a cave blocked by a fog wall along the route. To gain admission to Seethewater Cave, use a Stonesword Key on the imp statue in front. You'll have to confront the Kindred of Rot boss at the end of this cave. This boss is one of the Caelid region's pests and is quite easy to destroy. You will receive the Kindred of Rot's Exultation after beating the boss.
