Nothing makes playing Escape From Tarkov more enjoyable than having a group of friends to rely on when you're in a fight. From keeping an eye on your back to flanking someone who has you pinned down, everything is possible. Nothing compares to the comfort of having a companion along for the ride. However, if you are unable to invite your friends, it can be extremely difficult to participate in a raid with them. You'd have to join several raids at the same time and hope that you end up in the same session as everyone else. To begin, let's discuss how you can play Escape From Tarkov with your friends.

How to play Escape From Tarkov with Friends

If you want your friends to join you on a raid in Escape From Tarkov, you must first make sure that everyone agrees on the exact location and time for the raid. There are only ever two times available at any location, so getting into the same raid lobby shouldn't be too difficult. Once you've arrived in the lobby, you'll need to either select "looking for group" from the drop-down menu or locate your friend's username in the list of people to the right. You will then need to either click on your friend's name and select invite to group or have your friend do the same for you, in order to join the group.

If you have your friends added to your friend's list in Escape From Tarkov, you can skip the step of selecting yourself as a member of a particular group. This can be accomplished through the messenger feature found in the main menu. They will always appear at the top of a lobby list if they are in the same lobby as you once you have become friends, even if they have not indicated that they are looking for a group when they join the game. Furthermore, because they will always appear at the top of the list, you will save time by not having to waste time scrolling through the list of names in search of your friend.

Once you have them in your group, all that is left to do is click on "Ready" and dive headfirst into the battle. In order to avoid accidentally killing your friend in the middle of a fight, once you've entered a raid with him, you must exercise caution. Because there is no waymarker on your HUD that indicates where your friend is, you must rely on your memory.
