Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Get Legally Married in Santa Barbara
You may now kiss the bride, and we have a feeling this wedded couple has had enough of practice. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have made their relationship official, just a month after exchanging vows in an impromptu Las Vegas wedding. The Blink-182 frontman, 46, and the Poosh creator, 43, married lawfully in a Santa Barbara courthouse on May 15. Kourtney's grandmother Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell was present as a witness.
Kourtney's second source, a close pal, tells "Kourtney is overjoyed and can't wait to begin this new chapter with Travis. They were both ecstatic for the occasion and madly in love." Kourtney joined Travis in a convertible, wearing a white minidress and veil, and they drove away with a "Just Married" sign. According to the second source, they are planning a wedding for close family and friends soon and "wanted to make it legal" beforehand.
Kourtney's kids, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, (whose father is Kourtney's ex Scott Disick), and Travis' kids, Landon, 18, Alabama, 16, (whose mom is Travis' ex Shanna Moakler) and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23, have been celebrating several milestones with their blended family.
Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, as well as Kourtney's mother Kris Jenner, have all lauded the couple and helped them celebrate their engagement in Santa Barbara last year. However, it doesn't appear that the entire family was there at the courthouse event since Kylie was seen out in Las Vegas with Travis Scott and daughter Stormi at the Billboard Music Awards. On Sunday afternoon, Scott also tweeted a video of his son Reign having fun in the pool.
The lavish wedding comes after Kourtney and Travis surprised everyone with a surprise ceremony in Sin City in early April. Despite the fact that the couple was unable to secure a marriage license at the time, a source close to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star News that they "didn't want to wait another second." In fact, Kourtney said the next day that one motto rung true for their pop-in event, which took place after they attended the 2022 Grammys: "Practice makes perfect."
Their wedding will take place less than two years after they first ignited dating rumors in December 2020. Two months later, the pair declared their relationship official on Instagram. And after proving they were an inseparable force to be reckoned with—and after building a close friendship—the couple seemed to go all out to show the world how deeply in love they were.
