The Met Gala 2022 guests are dressed in 'Gilded Glamor' to commemorate the launch of the In America: An Anthology of the Fashion show. Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King will host the event, which will also feature honorary co-chairs Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Adam Mosseri of Instagram, as well as a who's who of the world's biggest stars—all of whom have been briefed on the "gilded glamour" dress code.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, co-chairs of tonight's Met Gala, have just arrived on the stairwell, and their outfits are, unsurprisingly, jaw-dropping. Lively wore a crown with a strapless Atelier Versace gown with pink bow-like decorations and pink opera gloves, in line with the night's theme of Gilded Glamour. Reynolds complimented her while dressed in a black tuxedo.

Hillary Clinton, the former US Secretary of State, attends the Met Gala for the first time in 21 years, wearing a custom wine-colored gown designed by Joseph Altuzarra. Altuzarra's design is inspired by the late-nineteenth-century American tradition of signing names on a blanket to commemorate a particular occasion. The names of 60 women Clinton admires are embroidered onto the hem of Clinton's garment. Rosa Parks and Lady Bird Johnson are two of the women on the list.
