Overwatch gamers have already identified a technique to increase Sojourn's leap height in the game. Mercy players are familiar with the super jump,' which combines her jump and Guardian Angel skills to give her even greater mobility. In a similar vein, users in the Overwatch 2 beta have discovered a way to give Sojourn a boost by combining her Powerslide move with a jump.

How to superjump with Sojourn in Overwatch

You can utilize jump to send Sojourn flying during her Powerslide, although this isn't the highest amount of hang time she can achieve. To pull it off, you'll need a creative combination of both. If you're having problems mastering Mercy's superjump, don't worry; Sojourn's is considerably easier. Using Dorado's second point as an example, Mindful Gamer's video above, which was submitted to Reddit, does an outstanding job of describing how the "Sojourn Jump" works.

Surprisingly, it does not begin with a Powerslide, but rather with a jump, followed by a slide. You'll want to leap again shortly after pushing the slide button, which should propel you a little higher. It's not as much of a boost as Mercy gets from her superjump, but it's enough to get Sojourn to places she wouldn't have been able to reach otherwise.

It remains to be seen whether or not this strategy will be patched out, as we are still in beta. This does, however, make it clear that the newest Overwatch hero is more than meets the eye.
