Salt and Sacrifice: How to get Black Starstone

As you progress in Salt and Sacrifice, you will need more and more Black Starstone. You'll use it on your Skill Tree to unlock skills for your character, allowing them to enhance their abilities and get access to specialized builds as they go through the game. There are several ways to obtain Black Starstone. What you need to know about getting Black Starstone in Salt and Sacrifice is listed below.

The best way to get Black Starstone is as a prize for leveling up. When you arrive at the shrine with the required salt level to progress a level, you'll be given a Black Starstone. Instead, for every fifth level, you'll get a Gray Starstone, a far rarer resource. We recommend wandering through the game, farming through the adversaries, and taking their salt if you're looking for extra Black Starstones for your Skill Tree. Return to Pardoner's Vale when you've collected enough to interact with the Shrine and level up your character.

Alternatively, you can come upon them while exploring the game. After fighting one of the Mages in Ashbourne Village and moving through it, we were able to locate one. The object could be found in a chest. Return to the Shrine where you level up in Pardoner's Vale and select the Skill Tree option to use a Black Starstone.
