Shell Amex Offer: Spend $20 and Get $5 Back

Check your American Express credit card statements for a new promotion that could save you $5 on your next Shell gas purchase. This promotion is available on your Amex consumer and corporate credit cards. Check out the offer's details below.

Offer

By attaching your enrolled eligible Card to a qualifying digital wallet and making a single transaction of $20 or more on automobile gas purchases using the Shell App by 8/16/2022, you'll receive a one-time $5 statement credit.

Offer Conditions

• Offer applicable at participating Shell stations in the United States for automobile gas purchases made in-app with a qualifying digital wallet via the Shell App.
• Any digital wallet allowed for payment within the Shell App qualifies as a "qualified digital wallet."
• The app's Station Locator can be used to locate participating stations.
• You must first add your enrolled Card as the default card or payment method to a digital wallet allowed within the Shell App for your transaction to be eligible. In-app payment must then be made with the same digital wallet.
• After any Fuel Rewards® savings are applied to an in-app purchase, the qualifying spend must be fulfilled.
• Purchases done outside of the Shell App, like transactions made online or by phone, or payments made at the pump, are not included.
• Not redeemable at Shell stations for car washes, garage or mechanic services, or purchases made at convenience stores or restaurants.
• Locations outside of the United States are not included.

Amex Offers

All American Express credit cards, charge cards, and even prepaid cards come with Amex Offers as a bonus. These offers appear in two versions in your accounts. For spending a specified amount at a specific retailer, you can get a statement credit or extra MR points. To obtain the credit, you must first add the offer to a specific card and then use that card. Log into your account online, scroll down to the "Amex Offers & Benefits" area, and click "Add to Card" for any offers you want to utilize.
