V Rising: How Long the day and night cycle work
In V Rising, a vampire, like many other gamers, should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. You'll need to find strategies to avoid severe sun damage or limit your outdoor activities to the evening. If you must go out during the day, though, there are lots of places where you may hide from the world. But make sure you have enough extra blood on hand, or you might be in trouble. We've got you covered if you want to avoid being in the sun for as long as possible, or if you're in a tight spot and need to know how long it'll be before the sunsets. Here are all of the details you'll need to know about how V Rising's day/night cycle works!
Avoid the Day and Cherish the Night in V Rising
When you're fighting during the day, you have a few extra things to consider, one of which is the fact that the sun is constantly draining your health. During the day, you'll be able to make medicines and other useful stuff, but at night, you'll be able to go out and play. However, because you cannot skip time forward in V Rising, if you are avoiding one part of the day, you will find a lot of wasted time.
Because there is no pause button, you will have some more time to do activities outside of the game if you sleep throughout the day. Because the game is always online, with other players inhabiting the same universe as you, you must always be prepared for anything. You'll need to know how much time you have before you can get busy again because you can either go out during the day or sleep it away.
The Day/Night Cycle in V Rising appears to last roughly 15 to 20 minutes. You'll be able to go out late at night without worrying about your health, but you'll also be missing out on a lot of time if you're constantly avoiding the sun. However, if you're asleep, it's great to know that you'll have some extra time to move away from the computer before having to return and resume grinding.
There is currently no way to skip time in V Rising, however, Stunlock Studios are working on an offline mode, stating on their Official V Rising Discord: “For those of you who can’t play now because of this due to inconsistent internet connections or something along those lines, we apologize for the inconvenience this will cause. It’s our estimation that offline play should be available sometime in the next couple of days, but maybe earlier.”
So, while time travel may become possible in the future, it is now not possible.
