Crude topaz, amethyst, ruby, sapphire, and emerald are all valuable materials in V Rising. You won't find much use for them when you first start the game. They are, however, an ingredient in those things as you progress up the various skills. All of the Crude Jewels and Gem Dust are discovered in stones with gems protruding from them. Although you won't locate all of the resources in one stone, if you farm a few, you should obtain a few of each. To collect the required amount of stones, which is 4 for weapons when you begin the game, you will need to farm various stones.
