Vampire The Masquerade Swansong: How to Solve the Freud & Oedipus Puzzles

Having difficulties solving the Freud and Oedipus challenges in Vampire The Masquerade Swansong's Red Salon level? You're not alone there, believe me. This is one of the game's more difficult puzzles, and it is required to complete the level. Everything you need to know about each one is right here. If you play as Leysha and go down to the Red Salon's basement level, you'll find a white hallway. Dr. Richard's office is at the end of this corridor. Once inside, look to your right for a bookshelf.

Solving the Freud Puzzle

When you glance at the bookshelf, you'll notice five Freud volumes that conceal a room. You must pull the books in the following order to finish the puzzle: 5,3,4. This is on the computer in one of the notes in the room next to the one you're in right now. Unfortunately, there is a second tier of protection in place, and you must now point the Swans at the bottom of the music box in the correct way. You'll find help solving the Oedipus puzzle on the same computer where you found the information for the Freud puzzle. Leysha gets the suggestion from Richard's comments to look at the direction Oedipus is pointing in each artwork. The key to getting the order correct is to pay attention to the numbers on the bottom of each painting, as you'll need to turn the swans according to them.
