Destiny 2: Where to find Opulent Chests

Calus' vessel is the Derelict Leviathan, which sits atop the Pyramid above the Earth's moon. Before Calus can connect to the Darkness, you must board this vessel and take on the Nightmares drawn to the connection between the two and eradicate them. You'll gain Opulent Keys along the route, which you can use on select chests. There are plenty in various locations, but you'll need to consult your key for further information.

Where to find Opulent Chests

You must check the key in your inventory every time you try to open a chest using an Opulent Key. Then hovering the key gives you a brief hint as to where the chest is on board the Derelict Leviathan. For example, our key directs us to the Pleasure Gardens, which are located close to the ruins.

When you get to the particular spot where the key for your Opulent Key resides, you must glance around. Even if you find an Opulent Chest, it's possible that it's not the right one for your key. Instead, it will inform you that your key does not fit and that you must locate another in the area.

You can use your key on the chest that it is compatible with. It's possible that you'll have to look around for a while to discover it. After finding and opening this chest, you'll acquire a Menagerie weapon. You can add new Menagerie weapons to your collection as you unlock more Opulent Keys.
