Elden Ring: How To Get Marika's Hammer

Players in Elden Ring can obtain nearly any weapon in the game, including those wielded by foes, NPCs, and, of course, bosses and demigods. Enemy weapons have a tiny chance of dropping upon death, NPC weapons are usually available at the end of their questline, and Remembrances can be used to obtain the weapons wielded by the Elden Ring bosses. Marika's Hammer is one of these weapons, and it's instantly identifiable because of its appearance in the Elden Ring entrance cutscene and other promotional photos. Queen Marika (or, rather, Radagon) utilizes Marika's Hammer in the final boss fight; thus, defeating Elden Ring is required to use it.

How To Get Marika's Hammer

Marika's Hammer can only be obtained after defeating the game's final boss — not Radagon, but the Elden Beast. The Elden Beast drops the Elden Remembrance item when defeated, which may be exchanged in for one of two items with Enia at Roundtable Hold. One of these two alternatives is Marika's Hammer. The Sacred Relic Sword, a similar light melee weapon with an incredibly long-range weapon skill, is another possibility. Before starting New Game Plus, go to a Walking Mausoleum to obtain both weapons. Players allege that the Walking Mausoleum outside of Castle Sol (the one shooting explosives into the air) can recreate Elden Remembrance.

Requirements and stats for Marika's Hammer

Outside the Lands Between, a stone hammer was forged in the Numen's lands. Queen Marika's tool for shattering the Elden Ring and Radagon's attempt to fix it. When the Elden Ring was shattered, the hammer partially fractured, becoming splintered with rune pieces.

Marika's Hammer is a very light blunt weapon that works effectively against armored foes, particularly those encased in stone or another resistant shell (like the miners throughout the many caves of Elden Ring). Gold Breaker is a weapon talent that allows the user to mimic Radagon's assault, in which he smashes the hammer down three times for tremendous AoE Holy damage.

Until upgraded to max level with Somber Smithing Stones, Marika's Hammer scales evenly with Str, Dex, and Faith. It scales B in Str, D in Dex, and C in Faith at +10. It's a good weapon for Strength/Faith hybrid builds, and it pairs nicely with a Shield or a Seal in the off-hand.
