Elden Ring: How to perform the Godskin skip

In the Lands Between, the Godskin Noble has become one of the more vexing bosses to face. If you don't want to fight a number of NPCs for Tanith, you simply have to defeat the Godskin Noble in Volcano Manor. If you don't feel like doing either, there are two methods to obtain supplies and get to Rykard without fighting the Godskin Noble. The two Godskin skip methods available in Elden Ring are listed below.

Godskin bridge skip

The Godskin bridge skip comes first. This method can be used once you've arrived at Volcano Manor, or you can use the Abductor Virgin in the Raya Lucaria Academy basement to get there sooner. Raise the bridge once you've reached it and proceed to the far side, away from the Godskin Noble boss encounter. Take a look at the image above for some inspiration. You'll need to leap over the bridge's slight bump. Jump onto the huge bridge gear that elevates the chain from there. Run and leap over to the corner once you're there. After a few tries, you'll be able to enter Volcano Manor and obtain the Somber Smithing Stone [7] near the Abductor Virgin.

Godskin wall skip

The Godskin wall skip is another skip you may do in this location. Go to the left of the Godskin Noble boss arena entrance instead of crossing the bridge. Proceed behind the arena to the place blocked by a big stone column. Slowly make your way to the edge of the column by running at it. When you reach the cliff's edge, jump, then rapidly spin to the right and attack with your fist. You'll be able to get past the column this way.

Repeat the same for the second column. This will lead you to the other side's stone. By stepping into the cliff and jumping, you can climb up it. This will put you right in front of the Godskin Noble's arena.
