New VR Games May 2022 Biggest Releases

After a jam-packed April that included the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, we're back to a regular stream of new releases in May. Additionally, there are some exciting new indie projects to look into. nDreams is delivering two titles, and there are some intriguing new indie projects to look into as well.
New VR Games May 2022
Fracked (May 5) – PC VR
After first launching as a PlayStation VR-only title in 2021, nDreams' blockbuster shooter will be released on PC VR headsets in early May. The single-player campaign in Fracked is a fast-paced affair in which you'll ski down mountains and penetrate the facility of an unscrupulous organization intent on doing bad things.
Little Cities (May 12) – Quest
Following a last-minute postponement in April, this light and airy city building sim are now aiming to launch on Quest 1 and 2 by the middle of May. Creating your own urban sprawls on several levels and upgrading cities to gain additional features and buildings is the goal of this game. In addition, hand tracking support will be included in future releases.
Omega Pilot (May 12) – PC Virtual Reality
In this futuristic driving game by XOCUS, you'll be on the race track. This early access edition only includes asynchronous multiplayer; however, the complete version, scheduled for release towards the end of 2022, will include real-time multiplayer as well as other features.
Swordsman VR (May 26) – Quest
This long-running virtual reality combat game is finally ready for a Quest App Lab release as part of the Quest App Store. You'll have to slice and dice your way through enemies in a variety of arenas and historical eras. As a result of this upgrade, thousands of new animations and other improvements will be made available across all Quest platforms, including PSVR and PC Virtual Reality.
The Last Taxi VR (May 31) – PC VR
A one-of-a-kind virtual reality conversation simulator in which you must keep clients chatting while transporting them through a futuristic metropolis. Learn about the differences between social classes while earning money to keep your vehicle in good working order.
