Every component of Rogue Legacy 2 has new elements, and Resolve is essential for success on your runs. This guide explains how to use Resolve and how to get the most out of it.

How Resolve Works

Resolve is a mechanic that is based on your belief in a specific run. Your maximum HP is determined by your resolve, which is influenced by a variety of circumstances. It can be boosted with manor improvements and equipment. Obtaining relics and wearing heavier armor reduces it. When your Resolve falls below 100 percent, you will lose an equal amount of Max HP. Based on your weight class, the maximum bonus Resolve is 125 percent

Increasing Resolve

There are several strategies to boost resolve, both directly and indirectly. The Fashion Chambers, as seen above, is the first method. The weight of your gear affects Resolve, so increasing the maximum weight you may carry will vary the threshold at which Resolve will activate.

There are various enhancements in the mansion that affect Resolve. These are the details:

Psychiatrist – Increases starting Resolve by 1% per rank.

Archaeology Camp – Relics cost less Resolve to equip. Minus 1% per rank

These two upgrades, when combined with Fashion Chambers, will result in a build with high Resolve and equip load. Maintaining a high level of Resolve is critical for surviving the late-game bosses in Rogue Legacy 2.
