V Rising: How to delete local saves

As you manage a vampire in a gothic setting, V Rising has taken the world by storm. Your game progress, on the other hand, is difficult to erase and cannot be done in-game. Here's how to manually erase your V Rising local saves.

The power dwells within your PC

There is no option to delete saves within V Rising, but you can do it through the game's directories on your computer. It can become a little confusing, but we're here to help. Exit the game and click the folder button at the bottom of your screen to access your save files. Select "This PC" on the left-hand side of the window below once you're in File Explorer. Then, under "Devices and drives," select your C: Drive. Go to "Users" and create a new user name. It's "Chris" for me.

This is when things become a little complicated. The folder we're looking for is "AppData," although it may be hidden for some individuals. If this is the case, if you're using Windows 10, press the Alt key on your keyboard. On the top of the screen, Windows 11 users should notice a "View" option. As a logo, it contains four recurrent straight lines. Go to Show -> Hidden Items at the bottom of the list after clicking that. You should now be able to choose "AppData."

After that, we're thankfully nearing the finish line. Find "Stunlock Studios" under "LocalLow." Double-click on it, then select "VRising" and "Saves." You should be able to quickly locate the autosaves after clicking on "v1." Remove them from your computer by deleting them. You may now start a new game on V Rising without having to worry about your PC becoming overburdened with game saves. Set out on an expedition while avoiding Vincent the Frostbringer.
