V Rising: How to farm scales

To stay up with the speed in the later levels of V Rising, players will need to upgrade their armor on a regular basis. Although a variety of resources are necessary to enhance armor, Scales are the most crucial. These are only needed to improve tier 3 armor, therefore having a large number in your inventory is essential.

How to farm scales in V Rising

Fortunately, there are several ways to farm Scales in V Rising, with killing Earthworms being the most effective. When you kill an Earthworm, it can offer you anywhere from 60 to 100 Scales. Furthermore, because earthworms are easy to kill, there is little risk. Earthworms may be found in most swampy regions; however, if you can't find any, consider traveling into the Cursed Forest's Swamp of Greed.

You can also clean Frogs and Spiders for Scales if you don't want to slaughter Earthworms. When defeated, these likewise drop Scales, although in smaller quantities than when you kill Earthworms. Frogs can be found primarily in swampy places, whereas spiders abound in Spider Cave. In Swamp of Greed, there is also a Frog boss who awards the most Scales when vanquished. However, because it is a boss, the battle can be difficult and may not be the best method for everyone.

Finally, you can get Scales via fishing. 8x Planks, 4x Coarse Threads, and 4x Copper Ingots can be used to make a fishing rod. Go to the areas marked by bubbles on the world map for fishing once you gain access to the fishing rod. After you've gathered a large number of fish, return to your Castle's Devourer and churn them into crafting ingredients, which should give Scales. Scales can also be obtained in chests scattered across the map, but this method is less reliable than the others.
