V Rising: How to Fast Travel

V Rising's environment is fresh, large, and at times terrifying to explore. You'll need to keep yourself safe throughout the day while feeding on the blood of the innocent and the not-so-innocent at night. Is there any way to go across the map quickly if you need to? We'll investigate further to see if there is a way to fast travel across the map, allowing you to travel from your current place to your destination in a matter of seconds rather than having to wade through the lands once more. Let's get started!

Gated Communities in V Rising

You won't be able to bring up a menu and choose where you want to go if you want to travel the planet faster than ever before. Before you can do anything else, you must first go out and explore the environment, where you will encounter Waygates. You'll immediately see one of these big, cylindrical spaces surrounded by three pillars.

However, there is one major drawback to rapid travel: you can't bring anything that isn't a piece of equipment or a consumable to your destination. If you want to use one of these, you'll have to unload your resources, which may be a bad thing if you have a lot of them. However, if you're in a hurry and need to get home before the sun sets, this could be your last-ditch effort to ensure you're safe till the next day.

While there are a few Waygates strewn over the map, you'll be able to make your own if you've progressed far enough in the game. Thankfully, you've already mastered the concept of constructing a roof, so you'll have everything you need to make this dream a reality. If you want to make your own Waygate, you'll need the following materials:

• 200 Blood Essence
• 20 Planks
• 20 Copper Ingot
• 10 Gem Dust

You'll need the Grinder to produce that extra dust, so get out there, start gathering materials, and build it so you may travel throughout the world with ease!
