Ark Survival Evolved: How to tame a Troodon

You'll come across some fascinating and deadly species in the wide world of ARK: Survival Evolved that aren't simple to tame. The Troodon is one of these species, a little bit tenacious beast that can only be tamed in an unusual manner. Here's how to tame one of these small creatures if you want one on your side.

How to get Troodon

To tame Troodon, unlike many other creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved, you don't have to fight it or provide it food or narcotics. Instead, you must force Troodon to kill your already tamed creatures in order for it to receive XP and reach a certain level of taming. Troodon can be found in the Redwoods or any other forest. You'll need to construct an enclosure ahead of time so that the monster may be imprisoned and readily tamed. When you come across a Troodon, fight it to irritate it; but, don't kill it.

When the Troodon becomes enraged and starts chasing you, quickly guide it back to the enclosure so it can't escape. You must now place a few of your already tamed critters in the enclosure in order for the Troodon to defeat them. However, before you place your domesticated critters in the enclosure, make sure they're low on health so the Troodon has an easier time defeating them. The Troodon will obtain the requisite XP and get tamed after defeating a few animals.

It's worth mentioning that a Troodon is less hostile during the day than at night. As a result, you should try catching it during the afternoon, as it will be much easier.
