BitLife: How to go to college on a scholarship
Even in BitLife, college is a costly affair. If your character has it, you'll be able to pay for it with cash, ask for a loan, see if your parents would pay for it, or earn a scholarship. The best way to accomplish these four possibilities is to apply for a scholarship, which takes away the financial stress of applying for college and provides you with a full ride. In BitLife, here's all you need to know about going to college on a scholarship.
How to get a college scholarship
You should start working on your college scholarship as soon as possible because it is linked to your character's Smart stat. When your character is able to read, we recommend taking it seriously. When they start elementary school, this happens. There will be a reading option under Mind & Body in the Activities tab. Make sure your character reads a book at least once a year whenever possible, gradually improving their Smarts. When students reach high school, they will be able to visit the Public Library to read a book.
You should work hard at school while growing your Smart stat. To do so, go to the School tab on the left side of your screen, select the school at the top of the screen, and then select "Study Harder." This will improve your school grades, giving your character a greater chance to succeed academically. Before you graduate from college, you should do this and read as many books as possible.
When you have the choice to attend college, you can apply for a scholarship. Your character will be awarded a college scholarship if their Smart stat is high enough and they get good grades in school. There's still a risk you won't get it, but having better grades dramatically increases your chances of being approved for a scholarship program.
