Diablo Immortal: How to disable the chat preview box

While communication is beneficial in online games, it can get overwhelming when the chat is clogged with dozens of individuals attempting to express themselves. Blocking out the noise in most games is as simple as muting people or turning off your headset. However, in certain MMO-like games, you'll have to cope with a text chat that has a lot of people discussing. This takes up a lot of screen real estate in mobile games. In Diablo Immortal, here's how to get rid of the chat preview box.

How to disable the chat preview box in Diablo Immortal

If you're sick of seeing the chat box appear for world conversation in Diablo Immortal, simply click Settings and select Chat. Channels in Chat Preview are located at the top of this section. When the chat window is available, everything you've checked here will instantly open and show you what others are saying. By default, World is checked, which means that anyone on the server can type in chat and you will see their post.

Only friends and party members have access to the chat preview. That way, we don't have to deal with irrelevant conversations while still being able to see what others we're playing with are saying. If you don't want to use voice chat, text communication with your teammates is a suitable alternative.

When you exit the Settings after turning off World chat, the box will still be there. To get rid of it, exit and re-enter the game. All you have to do is tap the text part at the bottom of the screen to see the text threads of any of the regions you turned off.
