Disney Mirrorverse: How to unlock Oogie Boogie
Disney villains are also playable in the Disney Mirrorverse, so you aren't limited to playing as the heroes. With his dice and roulette wheel transformed into a massive flail and shield, Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas is guaranteed to be a fan favorite. How to add the big, scary bag of bugs to your squad is shown below.
How to use crystals to unlock Oogie Boogie
You can draw Oogie Boogie at random from the portal, but you'll need to pay a Crystal to do so. Although Oogie pulls from the portal are unpredictable, using a Famed Crystal can improve your chances. Hit the Crystals tab on the main menu to find the current list of Famed Crystals and then begin perusing. You're trying to find one with Oogie (like the one pictured above, which includes a two-start version of him). Even if they boost your chances, famed crystals do not ensure you will obtain them. Orbs, which you can either acquire by completing tasks or buy in the store for real money, can be used to pay for them.
How to use stardust to unlock Oogie Boogie
Spending Stardust to unlock Oogie Boogie is an alternative to using orbs to purchase Crystals. Although this is a different approach, some element of chance is still present. The available items can be found under the Stardust tab in the shop; these are updated periodically. Oogie is a tank-class character, so obtaining him will require a significant amount of blue Tank Stardust. When you have enough money saved up, watch for him to show up at the Stardust store and then buy him.
How to get Laurels to unlock Oogie Boogie
In a similar way, Oogie Boogie is available in the store under the Laurel tab. You can join an existing team or form your own because laurels are obtained through alliance assignments. The same rules apply: hold off on paying your Laurels until he becomes available in the rotation.
Oogie Boogie’s abilities
You'll need to understand how to use the bag of bugs after you have Oogie Boogie. Funny enough, Oogie's Bugs, his primary attack, actually sends creepy crawlers behind adversaries who attack him. Any enemy they crawl over has their attack strength reduced. The large shield you can see in the screenshot above is Oogie's Wheel of Misfortune, which he can swing using his special ability. It knocks down adversaries with significant damage and drives them away. The bugs are finally released once more by his hallmark move, Stunning Swarms. They can shock the enemy they swarm, as their name implies. Then, a victim who is shocked takes greater damage from the wheel.
