Epic Games completely messed up the XP grind in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. The XP grind was already severe in the game, but with the recent adjustments to the XP gain mechanism, the grind has become much more onerous, as the community has pointed out. Players will need to gain 7,920,000 XP to attain level 200 in the Battle Pass. While this may not appear to be a significant number, Epic Games has reduced the amount of XP players may earn by completing weekly challenges. Previously, finishing these challenges would earn players a total of 80,000XP. This number has been reduced to 75,000XP in Chapter 3 Season 3.

How to gain XP in Fortnite Creative mode

With each season of the game, Fortnite Creative grows in popularity. Epic Games has been attempting to draw attention to the game's Creative mode. For the uninitiated, Fortnite Creative is a game mode in which players create numerous maps. There are a variety of maps available, each with different game modes such as Deathruns, Free-For-All, and Team Deathmatch. However, several of these maps support XP as well. As a result, players can earn XP simply by playing these maps.

When compared to games in the Battle Royale genre, players will get more XP by playing these maps. Surprisingly, gamers can earn XP simply by playing in the Creative mode. Players will want to swiftly proceed through the Battle Pass to get their hands on the Darth Vader Fortnite skin, given how well-made the Battle Pass skins are. However, by reducing XP gain, users may be enticed to purchase some of the Battle Pass tiers.

While the actual explanation for the XP nerf is unknown, the devs are expected to increase the XP gain in the following days. Furthermore, the current season will span more than 90 days, allowing players ample opportunity to fully utilize the Battle Pass. Players that own the Save The World expansion can also play that mode to gain more XP, but the community believes the XP gain is nerfed. Because the new season has just been live for two days, these issues are bound to arise.

The Fortnite community has been vocal about the game's faults in prior seasons, and they're doing so again this season. Epic Games is likely to take all of these issues into consideration and address them in future game updates.
