Lower voter turnout predicted for Georgia runoff

On Tuesday, the state of Georgia will have its runoff election, and political analysts anticipate that turnout will be lower than it was during the primary election in May. The Democratic nominees for the runoff election are Charlie Bailey and Kwanza Hall, and the winner of this election will represent the party in the general election that will take place in November.

Both Dee Dawkins-Haigler and Bee Nguyen will be competing for the Democratic nomination for Secretary of State in the next runoff election. There are three races for the House of Representatives that Republicans will vote on.

According to political experts, candidates will continue to broadcast advertisements in the hopes of encouraging more voters to participate in the election, even if low voter participation is anticipated. In the state of Georgia, polling places will open on Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. and remain open until Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
