Pokémon Go Fest 2022: How to get Galarian Mr Mime and Mr Rime

Galarian Mr Mime and his evolution Mr Rime are two of the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon Go, but during Go Fest 2022, you may simply add them to your Pokédex. It's worth noting, though, that in order to acquire these two Pokémon during the early hours of Day One - Saturday, June 4th - of this Pokémon Go event, you'll need to have purchased a Go Fest 2022 ticket.

How to get Galarian Mr Mime during Go Fest 2022 in Pokémon Go

You must purchase a ticket for this event from the in-game Pokémon Go shop in order to obtain Galarian Mr Mime. You won't be able to add the rare Pokémon to your version of the game at Go Fest 2022 unless you have this ticket. Galarian Mr Mime can be found in two ways by Go Fest 2022 ticket holders:

• Using Incense during the Tundra Habitat Hour on Saturday, 4th June
• Completing steps in the Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Special Research

You can choose any difficulty choice for the Catch, Battle, or Explore Go Fest Special Research options, as you'll receive Galarian Mr Mime from the sixth step on any branching path, regardless of difficulty.

Here's how to get Galarian Mr Mime on any Special Research Path and difficulty:

• Catch Challenge (Relaxed): Make three Curveball throws
• Catch Challenge (Standard): Make three Curveball throws in a row
• Catch Challenge (Master): Make two Excellent Curveball throws in a row
• Battle Challenge (Relaxed): Win a raid
• Battle Challenge (Standard): Win three Raids
• Battle Challenge (Master): Win three raids with a team of different Pokémon
• Explore Challenge (Relaxed): Spin 15 PokéStops or Gyms
• Explore Challenge (Standard): Spin 20 PokéStops or Gyms
• Explore Challenge (Master): Spin 30 PokéStops or Gyms

Remember that you must reach the sixth step to receive Galarian Mr Mime as a reward for achieving one of the challenges listed above. Because the level and challenge type you chose on a previous Special Research stage determine the challenge you get, you can only accomplish one of them and get one Galarian Mr Mime.

If you want to earn extra Galarian Mr Mime Candy or capture as many of the rare Pokémon as possible, Go Fest 2022 ticket holders can use Incense during the Tundra habitat hour to improve the possibility of a Galarian Mr Mime spawn. During Day One of Go Fest 2022, the Tundra habitat hour will occur twice, giving you two chances to use Incense and earn more Candy, or to assemble a horrifying squad of Galarian Mr Mimes.

How to get Mr Rime during Go Fest 2022 in Pokémon Go

Mr Rime may be obtained in Pokémon Go by using 50 of the Pokémon's Candy, or Rare Candy, to evolve Galarian Mr Mime. You don't require any special evolution items, so if you're having trouble finding Mr Mime or Rare Candy, simply use Incense during the Tundra Habitat Hour to attract more Galarian Mr Mime. To double the Candy received for successfully catching the Pokémon, use a Pinap Berry. Simply choose the Galarian Mr Mime you want to develop into Mr Rime once you have 50 Mr Mime Candy to add the Gen 8 Pokémon to your Pokédex!
