How to Get Meltan in Pokemon Go

The Mystery Box is the most common method of obtaining the elusive Meltan Pokemon. They may potentially have been caught through the 'Let's GO, Meltan' special research in 2018, but that is no longer available. For anyone reading this in June, Shiny Meltan is currently a part of the Pokemon TCG crossover event, therefore participating in this event will increase your chances of getting Meltan even more.

The 'Mystery Box,' which you obtain when you transmit a Pokemon from the game to Pokemon HOME, Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, and/or Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee!, is the most popular means for players to get Meltan. After you've performed this phase successfully, you'll be given a Mystery Box to activate, which will summon Meltan into the wild for you to capture.
