In The Quarry, summer is coming to an end of the year, and protagonists Jacob and Emma are preparing one final great campfire before they must part ways. But first, they must acquire provisions in Chapter 2, which allow them to show off their shared naughty side. They travel to the camp store to get party treats, but they hit their first roadblock: a locked door that Jacob tries to unlock with elegance. Should Emma Kick the Door or Let Jacob Pick the Lock-in The Quarry?

It makes no difference, though if you let Jacob continue, you'll get better conversation, as it turns out he's rather excellent at it, much to Emma's surprise. There's another locked door going to the stockroom farther inside for Emma to act on her obvious disdain for locked doors (remember, she also tried to break into the cabin with Abigail). There are a few minor spoilers ahead! If you go any further in, you'll notice a man stalking just outside the door, so resist the urge to kick it open to avoid making a disturbance. But the answer is irrelevant because you won't draw anyone's attention and will fail miserably to open the door if you kick it, allowing Jacob to pick the lock as well.

Keep an eye out for supplies, hints, and evidence at the store. In the stockroom, you'll locate one tool that will be really useful. However, you'll be faced with another decision to make: whether or not to purchase fireworks.
