Raft: How to play multiplayer
Raft is arguably one of the best survival games for people who enjoy being on the water, but I've got some terrible news if you're afraid of sharks. In order to succeed, you must expand the raft you are currently on, collect supplies from other islands, avoid becoming an island predator, and acquire resources. You can even team up with some buddies in Raft to embark on the oceanic adventure together if you feel that living in the ocean might be a little lonely. However, new difficulties arise in multiplayer, such as the requirement for extra food. In Raft, multiplayer isn't too challenging to understand, but here's all you need to know before boarding your Raft and inviting pals!
How to play multiplayer in Raft
You can play Raft with a group of up to eight people at once. Be aware that the more players you have, the more resources you'll be able to find, but there will also be more sharks to contend with, as well as a much larger demand for food and water. So, while having a fantastic time playing with your friends, it will also feel a little harder. You both need to have the game installed using Steam and have your in-game status set to online in order to party up with your buddies.
Now make sure that "Friends can join" is enabled before starting a new world or loading the one you intend to play on. Anyone desiring to join the world can do so by choosing "Join World" from the Raft main menu, which then displays a list of their online friends' worlds. All they have to do is choose your world, type your password, if applicable, and you're done!
