The Quarry: How to infect every character
If you've looked over The Quarry's achievement/trophy list, you'll notice one called "Blood Pact." This necessitates infecting each counselor, an idea that could be regarded as a spoiler in and of itself. Because this guide contains information on the majority of the game's chapters, we'll offer you a healthy spoiler notice before detailing how to unlock it.
How infections work
You must be bitten by a werewolf to become infected. Each of the nine counselors can be bitten in unique circumstances, which entail significant decisions and short-time events. It's worth noting that you can infect everyone and yet get them all out alive. This is owing to the werewolf curse's nature: shooting Silas at the conclusion of the game instantaneously cures everyone. Even if they don't count toward the challenge, the Hackett family is included. Even still, an all-infection run may be better saved for later playthroughs.
Laura & Max
Laura and Max are counted, but you don't have to do anything special because they're infected by default as part of the tale. Consider those crossed off your to-do list.
Abi
You can actively infect Abi as the first character. In Chapter 3, while fleeing the werewolf, deliberately fail the quick-time events. She will get bitten as a result of this.
Emma
Emma can be infected in two ways, the first of which is revealed in Chapter 4. This occurs when you face the werewolf on the island and requires no prior setup. When you return to the tree home, instead of going straight for the trap door, select to block the door. If she fails the next two quick-time events, she'll be bitten. The alternative strategy necessitates a prior decision. Choose to leave the fireworks inside the safe when you find them in Chapter 2. Alternatively, don't pick them up in Chapter 6 by the fire pit. If you opt to run on your way back to the lodge, a werewolf will pounce on you. You'll be bitten if you don't use fireworks to scare it away.
Dylan
Infecting Dylan also necessitates a prior decision. You'll have the opportunity to help Emma break into the cabin when you first control Abi in Chapter 1 — take it. Dylan and Ryan will be inside the radio cabin when a werewolf attacks later in Chapter 5. Dylan will be bitten in the hand as a result of this, but only if you broke into the cabin previously. Choose not to amputate Dylan's hand after the bite since everyone must be infected at the same time. Don't worry, even with the bite, you can keep him alive.
Jacob
If you want to pull this off, you'll have to make a crucial decision with Jacob as well. You can choose to throw dirt in the hunter's face once you've been rescued from the snare trap in Chapter 3. If you do so, you'll be able to flee without being smeared with werewolf blood. When Jacob is fleeing the werewolf in Chapter 6, he becomes infected. If you fail the quick time events here, it will bite you without the protection of the werewolf blood.
Ryan
Ryan's infection is the result of a single binary decision. He'll be bleeding out halfway through Chapter 9 after having a knife taken from his side (this happens one way or another, regardless of your choices). Laura will offer to bite and infect him on purpose in order to heal the wound. Accept the offer and resist the urge to back away.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn is the final counselor who can be infected, and she is the one who takes the most detailed steps. It all happens in Chapter 9 when she and Dylan are at the scrapyard. Dylan will notice the werewolf approaching from his perch in the crane. First, choose whether or not to warn Kaitlyn and then complete the QTE. Then, if you want to fail the next QTE, slam the automobile. She will be bitten in the leg as a result of this.
