BLACKPINK will be making their comeback this August confirmed by YG Entertainment

The news that BLACKPINK will return in August has been confirmed by YG Entertainment. Blackpink recently stated that they are working hard and recording for their new album, which they intend to release shortly, in an interview with Rolling Stone. They said that as they were getting ready for a comeback, they were planning future tours.

Since the girls have been on an unofficial break since October 2020, fans have been clamoring for a Blackpink reunion since late 2021. Fans have been making jokes about it being 18 months, which is the same length of time as both the mandatory military service in South Korea and the career of the project group IZ*ONE. Additionally, Blackpink's members asked their Blinks (fans) to be patient because they will be returning soon. On July 2, there were reports that the girls' unreleased song "Ready for Love," which was meant to be a part of "The Album," might be made available as an OST for the popular mobile game PUBG.
