Finally released is the cast list for Big Brother's 24th season, and fans are already busy selecting their favorites and leading contenders. With a prize pool of $750,000 at stake, the sixteen candidates are prepared to go head-to-head for the top honor. Michael Bruner, a Minnesota-based lawyer, is one such defendant. Michael stated in his pre-game interview that he was prepared to "lie, backstab, and manipulate" in order to win the 24th season of "Big Brother." It is unclear if Michael will continue the winning streak of the attorneys given that Wisconsin lawyer Xavier Prather won the previous season. Even though we haven't yet seen Michael in action, he has already become one of the fans' favorites to win the game and has even managed to win over former "Big Brother" contestant Janelle Pierzina.
Big Brother Season 24 on CBS: Who is Michael Bruner?
Originally from Saint Michael, Minnesota, attorney Michael Bruner, 28, now resides in Rochester, Minnesota. Michael calls himself a "Cat parent to three, fiancé to a lovely man, lover of board games, and a Big Brother Fanatic" on his Instagram bio. If you're wondering why Michael is already having support from the crowd, it's because of his outstanding pre-game interview. Michael took the time to sit down for a brief interview before the big show launch and shared some personal information. Michael was brave enough to say that he didn't give a damn about becoming the favorite of the country when he was asked to choose between winning fame and popularity.
Michael also acknowledged that he has been a major fan of the program for 20 years and that he yearned for a role in the program! Michael, a super-fan, admits that his intellectual prowess is his greatest strength. He asserts that he is knowledgeable about the ins and outs, strategies that are effective, and ineffective tactics. However, he also makes the point that he is intelligent enough to understand that just though he is well-versed in the game, it does not automatically imply that he would be a good player, as everything ultimately comes down to relationships and developing trust with others. When Michael noted that being a superfan of the show is like a double-edged sword, which is both his strength and weakness, he further demonstrated his excellent self-awareness. Due to excitement about being a major fan of the program for many years, he stated his anxiety about playing too quickly and hard.
When asked what he would do to win, Michael's statement essentially sealed the deal for the show's audience, who chose him as their top option to win the season. Basically, anything that fits inside the parameters of the game, Michael admitted. It's acceptable for me to manipulate, backstab, and deceive. He did, however, draw a strict line when it came to entering someone else's private space. The lawyer asserted that he would not disparage any of his colleagues personally and that he expected them to do the same. Michael appears to have everything well planned out, and we can't wait to see him in action.
Michael will be relocating to a house with 15 other strangers where 94 cameras and 113 microphones are installed to "record their every move. He'll spend the summer living in the house with the strangers, battling with them for strength and safety. The final contender standing after a week's worth of voting will be declared the winner.
