Can you catch a shiny Hisuian Qwilfish in Pokémon Go?

For the Hisuian Discoveries event, the Hisuian Qwilfish will make its Pokémon Go debut. You have a good possibility of running into Hisuian Qwilfish during this event, giving you the chance to add this rare Pokémon to your PokéDex before it finishes. You only have a short window of opportunity to locate this Pokémon, though. Can you capture a shiny Hisuian Qwilfish in Pokémon Go given that you won't have much time to do so?

Does Hisuian Qwilfish have a shiny version in Pokémon Go?

We can confirm that the glossy edition of the Hisuian Qwilfish won't be made available right away. This Pokémon will make its debut during the Hisuian Discoveries event, so players won't have access to the shiny variety. With almost every Pokémon Niantic release for the mobile game, they will do this. The shiny variant often does not appear at the same time as a new Pokémon form in the game. This has occurred with several Pokémon releases, including that of Hisuian Braviary. Unfortunately, Hisuian Qwilfish does not have this good luck, so if you catch it in the wild or hatch it from a 7km egg, you won't see a shiny version of it.

The Hisuian Qwilfish does not share shiny version releases, despite the fact that it evolves from the same candy that you get when you capture an ordinary Qwilfish. These Pokémon are thought to be distinct from one another, and Hisuian Qwilfish will get a special shiny release. The evolution of Hisuian Qwilfish into Overqwil is yet to be advised. The release of the shiny version of Hisuian Qwilfish is probably going to occur at a later event that Niantic has not yet announced. When it does, all players can anticipate getting another chance to catch the Hisuain Qwilfish, giving them all the chance to add it to their collections.
