F1 22: How to fix the audio cutting-out error
Unfortunately, less than a week after F1 22's release, many players still appear to be experiencing the audio cutting-out problem. The new issue causes players' audio to dramatically delay or even lose out completely, according to reports made by multiple users on the EA Answers HQ forums. Here's how to resolve the F1 22 audio cutting-out problem.
F1 22 Audio Stutter: How to Fix
One approach that appears to be effective for individuals using a Windows 10 PC is entering the launcher where the game was installed and fixing the game's files:
- Find the "Verify integrity of game files" option on Steam.
- Look for the "Repair" option on the EA app.
- Look for the "Verify and fix" option in the Xbox app.
Another approach that appears to be effective for those using a Windows 10 PC is turning off all outputs while playing F1 22:
- Access Settings
- Choose "System"
- Make sure your output device is the one you want to use to hear the sound by choosing "Sound" under the "Output" header.
- Choosing "Manage sound devices"
- Disable all additional audio devices you are not using by clicking on the "Output devices" header.
Last but not least, some are reporting that removing Windows Sonic for Headphones or Dolby Atmos for Windows when playing F1 22 also seems to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear like there are many recognized workarounds for individuals who are currently having the problem with consoles. Players of F1 22 are already reporting this problem in great numbers, so maybe Codemasters and EA Sports can address it as quickly as possible.
