The evil Team GO Rocket uses Pokemon known as Shadow Pokemon. They differ from common Pokemon in that they are more effective in battle. Additionally, they require less stardust and candy to level up than unpurified or common Pokemon. These Pokemon have the choice of remaining in their shadow forms or being purified. Catching a Shadow Latios in Pokemon Go

In Pokemon Go, Shadow Latios is held by Giovanni of Team GO Rocket. To obtain Shadow Latios, players must complete the Field Notes: Team GO Rocket research. If players finish all of the tasks before September 1, 2022, they will encounter Giovanni, battle him and his formidable Pokemon, and possibly capture Shadow Latios. Shadow Latios can be found by Pokemon Go trainers who beat Giovanni, even though it is not listed as a reward for completing the Team Go Rocket field objectives.

Given that Giovanni will use Persian and Shadow Latios, followed by either Nidoking, Machamp, or Rhyperior, it will be challenging to defeat him.
